Pre-School Staff

Sarah WestgateAlderton Acorn's Sarah

Sarah has been working at Alderton Acorns since 2008, and is our Play leader.  She completed her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare whilst working here and has attended Senco training, leading to her becoming our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. She has also completed her Forest School training and is now heading Forest School sessions enthusiastically every week. Sarah has a degree in multi-disciplinary design and has worked as a studio manager and graphic designer in an advertising agency. These skills are put to good use during our art and craft sessions at Pre-School. She has 3 children of her own and enjoys getting out and about  with them.


Alderton Acorn's SusieSuzy Webb

Suzy has been working at Alderton Acorns since 2008. She has also worked at Dumbleton Nursery school and was a practising child minder for 7 years. She has three girls of her own, all attending local schools. Suzy is involved in running various nature and environmental clubs at Oak Hill School. She works hard on her allotment and enjoys all outdoor activities and natural crafts. She also assists at our weekly Forest School sessions, working with the children to broaden their knowledge of their local surroundings.



Siân TrynerAlderton Acorn's Sian

Siân is a trained infant and nursery teacher having worked in various schools in the UK as well as schools in Germany and Nigeria. She is our administrator and provides staff cover when required. She’s worked at Alderton Acorns since 2008. She has three children of her own, keeping her busy as she faces all the different challenges their teenage years bring. Siân is involved in all aspects of village life especially the school, village hall and church communities. She is a keen gardener and enjoys growing produce in her allotment and she brings all her knowledge and enthusiasm for growing back into Pre-School to share with the children.
